Live video anywhere
KA-SAT Equipped Mini
We've been involved with live video for some time and recently decided to invest in our own mini OB vehicle. We approached Dawson who build vans for broadcasters all over the world who agreed to work with us to build the UK's smallest and most compact satellite vehicle.
The car now sports an auto-pointing KA-SAT dish that can connect in less than 2 minutes and provide an upload speed of 10Mb. The satellite system has its own high capacity technical battery that runs the system silently for days.
The car remains unmodified outside of the boot and can carry the driver and three passengers. Or the driver and one passenger and lots of kit!

Powered by LiveU
We use industry standard LiveU equipment to encode video and transmit via IP, we carry both the LiveU Solo which encodes for website like Youtube, Facebook Live, Periscope, Twitch and other RTMP services. I also carry the LiveU LU200 encoder for point to point broadcast applications such as breaking news.
Hbyrid DSNG - Satellite and 4G
Whilst 4G is a popular way of sending IP encoded video we find satellite a robust system that won't degrade in congested areas or rural communities. We often bond our internet connection across 4G modems and satellite to share the data across different providers and create an even more robust connection whilst reducing the costs of sending via satellite alone.
